- Directly from you
How long we keep information
We are committed to the principle of Storage Limitation. We only keep your data for as long as is necessary to provide the game service, maintain security, and improve gameplay.
| Data Category | What We Hold | Retention Period | Action After Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Player Account | Your unique Player ID (stored on our server) and technical device metadata. | Indefinite while you are an active player. If you are inactive for 24 months, we consider the account abandoned. | Deletion: The Player ID is permanently deleted from our active user database. |
| Game History & Performance | Your scores, level completion times, and gameplay statistics linked to your Player ID. | 30 Days.We keep this detailed history for a short window to verify high scores, detect cheating, and resolve player queries. | Anonymization: We remove the link between your Player ID and the game result. The result becomes anonymous statistical data (e.g., “A player scored 500 points”) which we keep indefinitely for research. |
| Security & Anti-Cheat Logs | IP Addresses and server access logs. | 30 Days (rolling window). | Deletion: Logs are automatically overwritten or deleted, unless a specific security threat (e.g., a ban) requires us to keep a record longer. |
| Local Data | Your Player Name (Username) and your personal list of past games. | User Controlled. This data is stored locally on your device (in localStorage). We do not have access to it. |
N/A: You can delete this at any time by clearing your browser/app cache or uninstalling the game. |
| Customer Support | Emails or messages you send us regarding complaints or bugs. | 30 Days after the query is resolved. | Deletion: Support tickets are deleted once the issue is closed and the dispute window has passed. |
Key Definitions
- Deletion: The permanent removal of data from our servers so that it cannot be recovered.
- Anonymization: The process of stripping your Unique ID from the data. Once anonymized, the data can no longer be traced back to you and is therefore no longer subject to GDPR retention limits.
- Inactive: We define “Inactive” as a Player ID that has not established a connection with our game servers for a continuous period of 24 months.
Important Note on Your Rights
Because we anonymize your gameplay data after 30 days, we can only fulfill requests to provide a copy of your data (Subject Access Request) or delete your data (Right to Erasure) if the request is made within that 30-day window. After 30 days, we no longer know which data belongs to you.
